Its top of the 1st of Game 4 of the ALCS between the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and while the Rays were the team to beat on the East the Sox didn’t trail to far behind them *only finishing 2 games behind them at the end of the regular season* and in Game 1 the Sox dominated the Rays on thier home field. Game 2 was a different story it was a see saw of a game, Boston led out to lead 2-0 then the Rays tied it and it was like that all night till the bottom of the 11th when the Sox brought in Timlin and the rays got the winning run on a Sacrifice Fly. Onto game 3 in Boston and Lester looked on point, but shortly in the 3rd inning the Rays got a 3 run homer and that would end up being all they needed to put the Sox down. Tonight in game 4 the Sox started Tim Wakefield, who in his professional career has good #’s againt the Rays but they all ready lit him up for back to back homeruns in the top of the 1st. If this is what I have to look forward to all night then it’s going to be a bad night at work.
